Lindsay Wheeler has experience in philanthropy, non-profit leadership, higher education, and K-12 schools. She has a track record of success leading a variety of work across these settings, including strategic planning and program design; facilitation of funder collaboration; grant sourcing, diligence and grantmaking; project management and implementation; executive leadership; team development and coaching; and professional development design and facilitation.
Most recently, Lindsay was a senior program officer for the Education Program at the Walton Family Foundation. Before joining WFF, Lindsay worked on strategic initiatives at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Prior to that, she served as the executive director of Teach For America’s Phoenix region. Lindsay began her career as a 5th grade classroom teacher in Phoenix.
Lindsay received a bachelor’s degree in Hispanic studies and international studies from the College of William and Mary, and a master’s degree in education policy and management from Harvard.
